Worldwide Business Research in London is seeking a full time Assistant for its Conference Production Department. This is a largely Conference Production Assistant, Worldwide Business Research, London Office
administrative, entry-level position for a candidate with strong interpersonal, computer and English skills.

The conference production assistant will work with a team of four conference producers, so the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and communicate effectively regarding different projects to a variety of personalities is key.
Activities include, but are not limited to: Data entry, conference app management, developing speaker contact sheets in excel, lead prospecting and related research, updating event websites through a content management system, updating contact database (CRM system), creating event correspondence with specific details and request speaker information by phone and email.

More advanced activities include: Generate emails through an automated email system, and create videos/interviews/tweets/article posts for event related social media accounts.

You may be asked from time to time to conduct basic phone research, invite speakers/event guests, follow up on missing speaker information, etc. by phone.

The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with an interest in executive-level business-to-business corporate events and a ‘can-do’ attitude towards work. This position offers great opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities

Main priorities:

  • Becoming an EMS and SKY “super user” in the production department to help other Producers
  • Web work: uploads and updates of agenda and speakers page
  • Organising panel prep calls
  • Managing the time of production interns
  • On-site event support:
  • Room/stream managing
  • Registration desk help
  • Speaker welcome

Main priorities:

  • General website reviews to clean up typos and mistakes, plus potentially sponsor updates
  • Contact details research for both (a) production research calls, and (b) speaker acquisition
  • Agenda formatting
  • Booking hotels and flights for Production Managers
