We’re looking for a dynamic, energetic person to help us drive our content marketing strategy across all of our conferences and digital products. Ideally you’ll have a strong command of the English language and have an ability to analyse information in various subject areas and to draw conclusions.

The Organisation

WBR has a group annual turnover of $40m. With offices in London, New York, Toronto and Singapore we are a truly International organisation. We create, sell, market and run industry leading large scale events in the Retail, Finance, Logistics, Procurement and Manufacturing sectors and produce digital content to support them as well as our clients objectives.

The Role

The purpose of the Digital Content Executive is to create content to support the promotion of our conferences and to create content inventory that can be sold to clients (sponsored content). The Digital Content Executive will work across the majority WBR event content and a portion of the sponsored content products. This is a developing role within the marketing team at WBR so the scope for progression will depend a lot on how quickly you learn the role and produce results.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Digital Content Director to grow and develop the content marketing strategy
  • Planning, devising and creating content in consultation with the internal marketing team and clients including, but not limited to; benchmarking reports, surveys, Q&A sessions, press releases, video interviews and blog articles
  • Create sponsored inventory to be sold by the sales team. Once sold, you would work with the client to produce the content on their behalf
  • Ensuring the effective distribution and promoting of the content across a variety of channels and networks as appropriate and agreed with the event Marketing Managers
  • Analysing and monitoring the performance of the content via feedback loops with the Marketing Managers, and compiling a monthly report on the results with analyses

Skills / Characteristics:

  • Self driven, results orientated
  • Clear understanding of content generation and marketing
  • The ability to work under pressure, organise and multi task
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Persuasion skills both in team and autonomous environments
  • 6 months to one year’s experience in digital marketing and, or content generation
  • Marketing, English or similar degrees preferred
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Innovative in your approach and always thinking ahead

Salary: £21,000-22,500 per annum
