The Role

Lead sourcing is at the core of our business. We need contact information and company intelligence so we can launch new products and grow existing ones. This is why the Lead Sourcing Executive role is crucial to our success.

Reporting to the Head of Database and working very closely with our production team you will be responsible for sourcing relevant contacts – contacts that will be used to source speakers, sponsors and delegates for our events. You will receive detailed briefs about which companies and which types of contacts we require to make the event is a success. You will also receive training and support from the research, product and sales teams to enable your success.

You will be responsible for

  • Finding the names and contact details for decision makers from Europe’s largest companies by searching online, on our database and by phone
  • Speaking with new and existing contacts about how their department or organisation is structured to give us greater breadth of information
  • Using LinkedIn, news articles, our database and other sources to find ‘ways in’ to companies that we lack information on
  • Compiling and updating our CRM system so that we can contact the leads you have sourced

Skills / Characteristics

Required skills and experience (desired)

  • University degree level or similar educated
  • Some telephone experience – including customer handling, cold calling or market research
  • Excellent organisational skills the proven ability to manage multiple projects
