Worldwide Business Research in London is seeking a full time Assistant for its Sponsorship Department. This is a largely administrative, entry-level position for a candidate with strong interpersonal, numerical, computer and English skills.
The Sponsorship Assistant will be working with a team of 4 sales directors and 15 Sales Managers, so the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and communicate effectively regarding different projects to a variety of personalities is key.
Activities will include, but are not limited to: updating event websites through a content management system, uploading data to sales campaigns through the CRM, recording sales revenues for weekly, monthly and annual target tracking, recording call times and KPIs for the team on a weekly basis, printing and scanning contracts, recording holiday and absence for the team,
More advanced activities include: Identifying a good number of potential candidates for interviewing through various online sources, and populating sponsored on-site activities with delegates through working with partners and contacting delegates on the phone and via email to confirm their attendance. Being an on-site support for the sales team at WBR events in the UK, and across Europe.
The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with an interest in executive-level business-to-business corporate events and a ‘can-do’ attitude towards work. This position provides full training and offers great opportunities for advancement and to take on extra responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Main priorities:

  1. Becoming an EMS and SKY “super user” in the sales department to help support the sales team’s data requirements and fulfil sponsorship branding as per the contracts.
  2.  Sourcing a minimum of 20 potential candidates per week from web searches, who could be a good fit for sponsorship roles at WBR UK
  3.  Keeping up to date recording of sales figures on a daily/monthly/yearly basis to track where the sponsorship team are against forecast and target
  4.  Working with the Sponsorship Managers to ensure that the paid sessions and fulfilled to contract within deadlines given.
  5.  Keeping holiday and absence records up to date

Secondary priorities:

  1.  Printing, scanning, returning and filing of sponsorship contracts where needed
  2.  Supporting the team with any onsite requirements and fulfilment
  3.  Booking hotels and flights for Sales Managers
