When I first began at WBR, I had no idea about the wealth of information I would learn in an entry-level position such as Event Coordinator and that I would grow so quickly. Within a year, I was promoted to Meeting Planner. As Meeting Planners, we are exposed to many different aspects of the events industry ranging from setups and signage to cost containment and customer service. This allows us to develop an extremely valuable skill set for just about any industry. As a team, we are constantly sharing our ideas and experiences to make every event the best that it can be. Every event allows us to work with different individuals from each department: production, sales, marketing; and you become familiar with everyone which is rare in a company. I feel very lucky to be part of the WBR family!

I started out at WBR 6.5 years ago as a part time marketing database researcher while finishing up college and today have become one of the key members of the marketing team as a Senior Marketing Manager. Being apart of such a versatile team has allowed me to be exposed to all aspects of marketing from direct mail, email marketing, search engine marketing, social media among other marketing channels. The training and guidance I’ve received at WBR from my superiors has allowed me to be in the position that I’m in today and I don’t think I would have gotten the same attention if I were working at another company. We’re not just co-workers on the marketing team, we’re like a family, always there for each other, providing support and assistance. One of the best, if not the best thing about working at WBR, is the growth, learning and fun that I have with a team I’m so fortunate to work with on a daily basis.
