Worldwide Business Research in New York is seeking a full time Assistant for its Conference Production Department. This is a largely administrative, entry-level position for a candidate with strong interpersonal, computer and English skills.
The conference production assistant will work with a team of four conference producers, so the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and communicate effectively regarding different projects to a variety of personalities is key.
Activities include, but are not limited to: Data entry, conference app management, developing speaker contact sheets in excel, lead prospecting and related research, updating event websites through a content management system, updating contact database (CRM system), creating event correspondence with specific details and request speaker information by phone and email.
More advanced activities include: Generate emails through an automated email system, and create videos/interviews/tweets/article posts for event related social media accounts.
You may be asked from time to time to conduct basic phone research, invite speakers/event guests, follow up on missing speaker information, etc. by phone.
