Sponsorship Sales Executive – WBR Connect

As a Sponsorship Sales Executive (individual contributor role) you will take ownership of the projects and have the chance to forge relationships with today’s leading companies across your assigned portfolio of annual events. We are looking for people with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities: Consulting with new and existing clients to create new opportunities through our events; Strategic sales , calling and e-mail; Identifying new market opportunities and securing high-level sponsorship’s for our events.

Key Attributes: You are a proven salesperson who excels in an entrepreneurial environment. You are motivated by the potential of uncapped commission structures and seasoned in building long term client relationships with a product you will be excited to promote. You have strong phone skills with C level Exectuives; are an excellent negotiator and solid closer. Aggressive and confident in your abilities, you enjoy team oriented culture.

Skills & Experience:

  • 2.5 yrs+ B2B sales experience
  • Event sales experience a plus
  • Proven track record of high level B2B sales
  • Comfortable selling to top tier executives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Negotiation and relationship building skills
  • New business development and account management
  • Experience with conceptual/consultative sales
  • Deadline oriented
  • High sales transaction quality: Retention, new Business, up-selling and cross-selling
  • Varied industry expertise a plus
