The Role:

Worldwide Business Research is currently seeking to expand its Insights team with a results driven sponsorship sales executive who will be responsible for growth of our WBR Insights division.

The Market Research Sponsorship Sales Executive will be responsible for securing sponsorship investment for our research based content & lead generation products. The individual will need to work closely with other internal departments within our dynamic and vibrant company to identify inventory, generate sales strategies for securing new business and sell into existing ones.

This is an exciting role for someone that is commercially minded as well as innovative and has a willingness to learn. Ideal candidates will have 2 years sales experience, knowledge & exposure to service offerings including: market research & whitepapers, webinars, and branding campaigns. Past experience within the market research/events/conferencing/publishing sectors would be beneficial but not essential.

You will be responsible for:

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: 

  • Building new relationships and cultivating new business for the WBR Insights team through inside sales efforts
  • Attending a selection of WBR & relevant industry events for the purpose of cross selling WBR Insights services
  • Working collaboratively with WBR sales, web and marketing teams to create new and innovative offerings

Skills / Characteristics 

You will have evidence of:

  • Ability to identify qualified, prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships via phone and face-to-face within an assigned market
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • A passion for online and digital content, including social media
  • Inside sales experience
  • Internet research, prospecting, probing, lead generation and closing.
  • You are not intimidated by the challenge of contacting top, executive-level decision makers.
  • Ability to function independently in a team environment
  • Knowledge and experience selling in a B2B environment
  • Proven ability to identify new revenue streams and execute a sales strategy that meets goals and objectives
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and to work under pressure, organize and multi task
