Worldwide Business Research is hiring for our WBR Connect business unit, which is focused on creating smaller, more intimate events for top tier executives. Through this new division, top executives from sponsoring companies will be able to have strategic meetings and have high level sales discussions with leadership from some of the largest companies in the world in a closed door environment.

As a Sponsorship Sales Executive you will take ownership of the projects and have the chance to forge relationships with today’s leading companies across your assigned portfolio of annual events. We are looking for people with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Position: Sponsorship Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities: Consulting with new and existing clients to create new opportunities through our events; Strategic sales and cold calling; Identifying new market opportunities and securing high-level sponsorships for our events.

Key Attributes: You are a proven salesperson who excels in an entrepreneurial environment. You are motivated by the potential of uncapped commission structures and building long term client relationships with a product you will be excited to promote. You are excited with the idea of starting a new business division and thrive in start-up environments. You have strong cold calling skills; are an excellent negotiator and solid closer. Aggressive and confident in your abilities, you enjoy team oriented culture.

Skills & Experience:

  • 4yrs+ B2B sales experience
  • Event sales experience a plus
  • Proven track record of high level B2B sales
  • Comfortable selling to top tier executives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Negotiation and relationship building skills
  • New business development and account management
  • Experience with conceptual/consultative sales
  • Deadline oriented
  • High sales transaction quality: Retention, new Business, upselling and cross-selling
  • Varied industry expertise a plus
