Job Overview:
We are a small internal web design team that maintains around 100 websites spread across three international offices. You’ll be working with the Creative Director and Marketing Managers to build and maintain conference websites that utilize strong design principles and maintain branding.
We are fast-paced, keeping a high degree of accuracy despite a high volume of work. This is an ideal position to hone your skills while making a real impact within a thriving global company. Our designers take full ownership of all site designs, which are seen the world-over by business owners and executives.
Ultimately, we’re looking for a fast learner with a keen attention to detail, and is very eager to dive in.
Technical Stuff we need:
- Strong online design portfolio displaying real-world projects, or detailed personal projects that really shine
- Ability to hand-code valid HTML & CSS layouts that function in IE8 thru modern versions of Chrome and Firefox. Blindfolded. While holding a duck.
- The usual Adobe stuff: Photoshop, Illustrator
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or jQuery
Soft Skills we need (most important):
- Organized – can self-manage multiple projects
- Fast Learner, Highly Adaptable
- Friendly and clear communicator
- Team player – can work well with colleagues to find creative solutions
Stuff that would make for an easy transition:
- Experience customizing CMS templates
- Know your way around MAC OSX
- Experience using Twitter Bootstrap
- A good sense of humor
