About WBR Insights

WBR Insights, is the bespoke marketing and demand generation arm of WBR, creating custom content and tailored year-round lead generation campaigns to assist organisations with their sales and marketing goals. WBR Insights builds tailored content as a tool to educate and build relationships is the most effective way, engaging new prospects and strengthening existing relationships; leveraging our senior-level database to distribute intelligence.

 

The Role

The Insights Portfolio Manager will be responsible for selling digital marketing solutions & campaigns to new and existing clients. Solutions include benchmarking reports, bespoke reports, webinars, and digital campaigns. The individual will need to work closely with other internal departments within our dynamic and vibrant company to identify inventory, generate sales strategies for securing new business and sell into existing ones.

This is an exciting role for someone that is incredibly commercial minded as well as innovative. You should have at least 2 years Online/Digital Sales experience or Sponsorship Sales, and be comfortable with selling intangible products. Experience within the events/conferencing/publishing sector would be essential.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Relationship building / Business Development
  • Building new relationships and cultivating new business for the WBR Insights solution
  • Attending a selection of WBR industry events for the purpose of cross selling WBR Insights services
  • Working collaboratively with 2 other Insights Sales Managers, the WBR Head of Insights, and the web and marketing teams to create new and innovative offerings
  • Help create, shape and deliver the overall insights sales strategy for your assigned markets
  • Creating sales propositions, in order to establish both best practice and also spotting, driving, and turning content, into different revenue opportunities such as: benchmarking reports, bespoke reports, webinars, and digital campaigns

 

Skills / Characteristics

You will need to display:

  • Ability to identify qualified, prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships via phone and face-to-face within an assigned market
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • A passion for online and digital content, including social media
  • Outbound, inside sales experience
  • Internet research, prospecting, probing, lead generation and closing.
  • You are not intimidated by the challenge of contacting top, executive-level decision makers.
  • Ability to function independently in a team environment
  • Knowledge and experience selling in a B2B environment
  • Proven ability to identify new revenue streams and execute a sales strategy that meets goals and objectives
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and to work under pressure, organize and multi task
