Sponsorship Sales Manager

Overview:

As a sponsorship or exhibition salesperson, you have the opportunity to build relationships with today’s leading brands, corporations, Fortune 100 companies as well as startups, across a portfolio of 100+ annual conferences and events (e.g., B2B Connect, eTail, Future Stores). WBR’s symposiums attract high-level C-Suite executives from disruptive industries such as finance and banking, retail and e-commerce, healthcare, government, procurement, logistics, and more!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with new and existing sponsors to sell and upsell customized sponsorship packages (i.e., to exhibit, to speak, for private functions)
  • Identify new prospects, convert them into qualified leads, and close new business via cold outreach (note: sales cycle is 6-8 weeks)
  • Nurture long-term client relationships to promote rebookings and year-over-year attendance
  • Maintain sponsor information, status updates, and performance in CRM system
  • Travel to assigned events and manage clients onsite

Credentials:

You’re a hungry and self-sufficient salesperson who excels at a consultative sale. You’re motivated by the potential of an uncapped commission, bonuses, and want to build client relationships with key stakeholders. You have strong B2B outbound calling experience, proficient writing skills, are an excellent price negotiator and can wear the label “closer.” Training and professional development is ongoing at WBR, so you should be a life-long learner and enjoy a hands-on, team-oriented culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ year B2B sales experience in research, media or ad sales, consulting or event services
