Job Purpose

As the Business Development Executive, you will be the first contact and initiate a professional relationship with today’s leading companies. This prospective client list is built by our lead generation team and given to you to execute, qualify, broker and nurture.  You will be assisting our sales team by moving the relationship forward into our sales process developing their pipeline of new business for the company.

You will join the business in the role outlined below. However, we have a commitment to rapid progression based on achievement. Once you achieve agreed goals, we will work with you to develop your capabilities with a view to taking on the next set of challenges.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Quickly and sincerely engaging with prospective clients
  • Set-up meetings with the client’s decision makers and company’s sales team
  • Articulate the company’s and events unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Identify opportunities that will lead to increased sales
  • Research, identify and close new business
  • Maximise revenue from new and current/previous sponsors
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with senior level decision makers (with a focus on maximising future revenue)
  • Build credible relationships with WBR producers and related departments
  • Practice effective time management; being able to identify, communicate, plan and prioritise objectives
