Marketing Assistant Summary:

As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll be working alongside B2B marketing gurus in the conference and events space — supporting promotional campaigns and event launches via multi-channel marketing. At WBR, we execute 100+ annual conferences across 15 industries, attended by the top brands, corporations, and startups on the planet.

Marketing Assistant Requirements:

  • 0-2 years experience in online marketing, social media, and/or event marketing
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or psychology

Marketing Assistant Key Functions:

  • Assist with webpage design, web copy, messaging, content layout and placement
  • Support email marketing, direct mail campaigns, and digital initiatives to attract buyers and sellers
  • Research and analyze market patterns, the general news cycle, and consumer trends
  • Generate media lists, sponsor lists, partner lists, and handle list management
  • Create analytics reports, pulling data on views, clicks, responses etc.

Creative, analytical, and someone who can absorb and interpret market research to help inform the “story” of our events, including written and visual brand elements. You’ll work side by side with our senior marketers to promote that story to our audiences over a variety of channels including internet marketing, email blasts, and social advertising. Training and professional development is ongoing at WBR, so you should be a life-long learner and enjoy a hands-on, team-oriented culture.
