We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, personable, and performance-driven individual to support our marketing team’s efforts through social media. The Social Media Marketer will work closely with Marketing Managers to design and execute successful social campaigns. This role will be split with primary focus on Social Media Marketing but up to 30% will be providing assistance to the marketing team.

Objectives of the Role

  • Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets
  • Monitoring social media accounts, creating content and responding to messages
  • Track SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Train marketing teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
  • Implement email marketing
  • Conducting competitive research and SWOT analysis
  • Producing sales collateral
  • Extensive use of CRM database and analytics systems
  • Liaising with sales, marketing, web and design teams

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Pay tremendous attention to detail
  • Creative skills, including writing, design and video editing
  • Proficient in excel, with performance analysis and spreadsheet skills
  • Well-organized, proactive, and can demonstrate that you are able to balance multiple projects
  • Adaptability and an eagerness to learn
  • Not afraid to ask questions
